Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled technologist to join our Forward Deployed Engineering Team as a Forward Deployed Engineer. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying sophisticated AI-powered and Salesforce-native solutions that address complex customer challenges.

You will work directly with enterprise customers to implement intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and scalable integrations leveraging the Agentforce platform and broader Salesforce ecosystem. This role demands deep hands-on engineering expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into production-grade technical solutions.

Your Impact

Build Agentic Solutions:
Design and develop intelligent agents using Agentforce including prompts, topics, actions, orchestration workflows, and AI-driven automations.

Develop Enterprise Integrations:
Implement sophisticated integration patterns between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.

Drive Advanced Salesforce Engineering:
Build high-performance applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Implement Automation & AI Workflows:
Develop complex automation leveraging Flow orchestration, Platform Events, Data Cloud, and AI-driven processes.

Optimize Performance & Scalability:
Design solutions optimized for large data volumes, governor limits, and enterprise workloads.

Ensure Engineering Quality:
Implement automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality best practices.

Support Production Stability:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents including root cause analysis and performance bottlenecks.

Mentor & Enable Teams:
Support junior engineers through code reviews, guidance, and technical coaching.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
 

• Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows ,  JavaScript.
 

• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture including data modeling, security, and sharing frameworks.
 

• Experience designing scalable enterprise solutions and applications.
 

• Proven expertise in enterprise integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, real-time sync).
 

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
 

• Experience implementing DevOps practices including Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
 

• Expertise in automated testing frameworks including Apex unit testing and API testing tools.
 

• Proven ability to debug complex, multi-system technical issues.
 

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum enterprise delivery environments.

• Deep expertise in Sales Cloud & Service Cloud with exposure to at least one additional Salesforce Cloud.

• Exposure to generative AI, RAG, or conversational AI implementations.

• Agentforce delivery: Experience in at least 1 Agentforce implementation Project. 

• Understanding of agent security and guardrails implementation, including role-based access, prompt safety constraints, and data exposure controls.

• Experience supporting agent deployment, testing, and release management, including functional testing, grounding validation, and regression testing across environments.

• Ability to troubleshoot agent behaviors including hallucinations, grounding gaps, orchestration failures, and integration errors.

• Familiarity with monitoring agent performance, refining prompts, and optimizing response quality based on user feedback and usage analytics.

• Certifications : Salesforce certified Agentforce Specialist, Data cloud Consultant & Platform developer II

• Ability to gather and interpret customer technical requirements.
 

• Participate in discovery and technical design workshops.
 

• Translate business requirements into technical implementations.
 

• Support customer demos, pilots, and proof-of-concepts.
