We are not building chatbots or copilots; we are building autonomous digital workers. Our first AI employee, Ava, is already functioning as a full-scale teammate for hundreds of companies—managing lead research, outbound sequences, and meeting bookings autonomously.

As a YC-backed company with over $35M in funding and $8M+ ARR, we are currently scaling our "AI worker" ecosystem. We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to act as the technical bridge between our product and our most strategic customers.

The Role

In this role, you will be part engineer, part consultant, and part trusted advisor. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Success, and Product to ensure our AI employees integrate seamlessly into complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture: Scope how our AI employees fit into a customer’s GTM stack, identifying what tools we replace and how we integrate with existing workflows.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Build customer-specific features and integrations across our TypeScript codebase (Node.js/React).
• Implementation Management: Lead end-to-end deployments, partnering with Customer Success Managers to drive deep product adoption.
• Technical Sales Support: Join high-stakes sales calls to provide technical credibility and help close complex deals.
• Strategic Travel: Visit customer offices for in-person discovery, scoping sessions, and onboarding (up to 50% travel).
• Feedback Loop: Channel customer insights directly back to the Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap for our next generation of AI workers.

Requirements:
• Experience: 3+ years as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Full-Stack Engineer.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in TypeScript across the stack (Node.js, React, or similar frameworks).
• GTM Fluency: Comfortable leading technical discussions with RevOps leaders and sales teams.
• Integrations: Ideally, you have experience working with CRMs and sales tech (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, etc.).
• Communication: Ability to translate complex technical systems for non-technical stakeholders while maintaining the ability to dive deep with core engineers.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) to meet customers on-site.
• Location: Ability to work on-site in either New York City or San Francisco.
