The role

We are looking for our first Forward Deployed Engineer to be embedded with RELEX fastest-growing market. You will be the technical face of RELEX Fresh to grocery retailers, combining engineering ability with real customer presence.

What we need you to do and be

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own high-impact AI deployments from pre-sales to production. You will work directly with customers, ensuring our solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.

• Own customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) end-to-end, from scoping and technical design to validation and measurable ROI

• Manage multiple parallel pilots, ensuring clear timelines, stakeholder alignment, and strong conversion to long-term partnerships

• Partner closely with Sales to translate business needs into technical solutions and support deal closing

• Collaborate with Engineers to deliver production-ready AI

• Deploy machine learning applications (forecasting, optimization, automated decision-making) into live customer environments

What you’ll bring to the table

• Deep Engineering experience in a related field

• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and proven experience deploying machine learning or AI solutions into production environments

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern data stacks

• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate technical work into measurable financial impact as well as to communicate it

• Comfortable managing ambiguity and taking full ownership of outcomes

• Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy
