Doka is currently looking for Project Engineer located in Vietnam. The Project Engineer is providing engineering design and calculation support to high-rise buildings and civil infrastructure projects in Vietnam.

Your responsibilities

Formwork on-site supervision and instruction

• You verify drawing/technical specification for adequacy.
• You provide training and on-site supervision (professional briefing and training) to contractors during the initial assembling of system formwork.
• Develop instructional materials, manuals, and safety guidelines tailored to client needs.
• Demonstrate installation, dismantling, and maintenance procedures with emphasis on safety and efficiency.
• You monitor the correct use of equipment at jobsite while ensuring that the customer/ client carry and practice the correct applications and assembly of system formwork.
• You troubleshoot technical problems at jobsite and execute formwork solutions.
• You are required to visit job site(s) and attend site meeting with customer/ clients to ensure smooth delivery and installation.

Site Project Management

• You monitor the progress of projects are delivered on time with accuracy of materials. You also flag any delay to clients and Doka.
• You can identify potential risk (low/medium/high) risk of the project and proactively discuss with Client on solutions.
• You prepare and submit daily site reports to flag all risks with client's acknowledgement.
• You provide customer feedback to Doka so that the company can continually improve.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction companies, contractors, and developers.
• Present and promote formwork products and solutions to prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
• Collaborate with technical and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Others

• You support the warehouse inventory checks, refurbishment, quality checks, etc, when applicable.
• any other tasks assigned by your superior.

 

Professional Requirements:

• You are legally allowed to Work in Thailand.
• Candidate must possess at least a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Have valid driver license.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in system formwork/scaffolding.
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
• Basic IT skills i.e. Word, Excel.
• Certification in Scaffolding Training will be an advantage.
