Schedule of the Forklift Operators:
Monday - Friday
8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operators:
Capable of achieving job proficiency and/or Certification in basic assembly/pack distribution positions May require use of simple hand and power tolls.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to add, subtract, count parts and match numbers to inventory records.
Ability to understand routing, packing and assembly instructions or procedures.
Ability to understand, follow, and apply operational and technical instruction, written and verbal.
Capable of exercising good judgment and sound decision-making in performing responsibilities.
Ability to quickly learn new production/distribution techniques and equipment, and adapt new applications to the work environment.
Utilize simple go/no go test equipment and gauges to check for component operation, binds, and clearances and make simple adjustments.
Responsible for quality of own work in an environment where errors may cause rework or scrap expense.
Checks the work products of other assemblers for defects. Fills out audit checklists, as needed.
Must be dependable, punctual, flexible and cooperative.
Moderate physical exertion caused by repetitive handling of parts and containers; standing, stooping, bending, reaching.
Generally lifts less than 25 pounds.
Neat and appropriate casual attire.
Perform manufacturing and distribution tasks as an entry level and newly trained employee.
Must be knowledgeable and proficient with safe forklift operating procedures as prescribed in OSHA’s training program content.
Must be proficient and experienced in the use of specific forklift/tow motor type of material handling unit to be used.
Work history and/or educational background supporting above requirements and qualifications.
Ability to be proficient and maintain balance at heights up to 30 feet while operating a cherry picker or similar equipment.
