Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

Operate a lift truck (primarily Sit-Down Forklifts) to move, stack, unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.

Perform heavy lifting as required to load and unload materials.

Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking for damaged goods and verifying quantities.

Utilize order picking systems to accurately fulfill orders.

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed.

Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA regulations.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the warehouse.

Other tasks around the warehouse as needed.

Required Experience:

Proof of current and valid Forklift Operator Certification.

Must have 3+ years experience safely operating a forklift.

Knowledge of mechanical principles and basic math skills.

Familiarity with different types of forklifts, particularly sit-down forklifts.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
