Forklift Operator

GPJ has an immediate need for Forklift Operators to work out of our new facility in Las Vegas, NV. Must have experience with oversized crated or skidded freight, preferably in the events industry.

Forklift Operator Description

• Responsible for operation of heavy machinery to safely move product loads around facility

• Performs safety checks on forklift to ensure safe operation

• Checking all fluid levels prior to operation - oil, water, fuel

• Ensuring packaging lines have empty pallets available for production

• Removing palletized or crated products from production line and on to trucks

• Operation of stretch-wrapper machine on palletized product

• Moving completed product to inventory for organized storage and shipment

• Inventory recording and reporting of finished goods

Qualifications

• Ability to safely and effectively operate equipment

• Proof of Certification for Forklift Operation

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

• Ability to climb on and off required equipment

• Ability to sit for long periods of time

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

• Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Reliable transportation

• Excellent attendance

• Positive attitude

• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
