Role profile:

The ForexClear Project Manager drives the direction and delivery of major programmes to achieve strategic objectives and transformational change.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Provides project management, guidance and technical expertise to deliver all aspects of projects including requirements analysis, business case creation, planning and execution
• Accountable for delivery, running projects with great complexity, impact, risk, budget variances and change requests
• Prioritising deliverables withing projects and devising new ideas and initiatives to support the organisation
• Produces reports for senior management and colleagues on the progress projects(s) against objectives and plans, highlighting any improvement areas and the requirements to correct them
• Promotes and fosters collaboration across broad categories of colleagues, providing leadership in cross-functional meetings and representing the seniority of the programme or senior stakeholders in governance boards and committees
• Collaborates with the Programme Director to ensure the programme achieves objectives and aligns with business priorities

Job Description

Project Management

• Provides leadership, guidance and technical expertise to run projects within the ForexClear portfolio
• Works closely with internal stakeholders from Risk, Product and Engineering to ensure projects are shaped appropriately in response to technical, regulatory, resilience and commercial demands
• Works with external project managers form banks, vendors and commercial partners to deliver key commercial initiatives
• Leads full project deliveries by working closely with Product, Risk, Technology, Legal, Finance and Procurement
• Runs the project RAID log and proactively handles resolution
• Responsible for the ForexClear budgets within Project(s)
• Chairs Project Boards and provides MIS reporting in the ForexClear Portfolio Board
• Delivers value incrementally by operating in an Agile and or Hybrid environment
• Removes obstacles and provides resources the team needs to be successful
• Partner with Business Management of annual budgeting
• Ownership of full project reporting, quality control and ensuring content is relevant to the audience

Commercial Focus

• Works with Product Owners to ensure Backlog prioritisation aligns with business priorities and revenue targets
• Partners with Finance and Business Management on annual budgeting and forecasting to ensure the Capex budget is sized and allocated appropriately
• Partners with Product and Finance to ensure project business cases are aligned to and reconcile with the future years revenue budgets  
• Defines measurable business outcomes in line with the business strategy and tracks performance at regular intervals

Partnership

• Promotes and fosters collaboration across broad categories of colleagues, providing leadership in cross-functional meetings and representing the business in governance boards and committees
• By working with teams leads ensures Agile teams are resourced appropriately in order to deliver change initiatives in support of business strategy
• Understands and addresses stakeholder needs, collaborates with and influences others
• Collaborates with leaders and colleagues across the group to develop cross-divisional solutions to meet stakeholders needs
