JOB STATUS: Temporary Part-time (20 hours per week)

Site Coordinator position puts you right at the heart of the community. You’ll assist families
seeking food support, lead volunteers, and help create a respectful, choice-driven shopping
experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Keep the Food Shelf Running Smoothly: Manage ordering, deliveries, rescue-food
coordination, inventory, equipment, and maintenance while ensuring the space stays
clean, organized, and efficient.
• Lead Operations & Volunteers: Receive and sort donations, oversee daily workflow, and
recruit, train, and motivate volunteers who bring energy and support to the food shelf.
• Create a Welcoming Shopping Experience: Provide a dignified, client-choice
environment with healthy, culturally relevant foods, ensuring every shopper feels
respected and supported.
• Support Clients With Care: Greet clients, complete eligibility interviews, assist with
applications, and connect individuals to UCAP and community resources.
• Document Accurately: Handle timely data entry and maintain clear, confidential, and
accurate records for all program activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum: A total of five (5) combined years of education + relevant experience
• Preferred: Two (2) years postsecondary education AND three (3) years of human
services experience
