Food & Beverage Supervisor - Birdie Bar & Brasserie

Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, nestled in Novotel Sydney City Centre our beautiful and vibrant Birdie is looking for a Food & Beverage enthusiast to join as our Supervisor.

This is a hands-on role which is focused on delivering exceptional service and experiences to our valued, loyal guests. You will have a strong presence in the operations, supervising a talented team.   

You will:

• Lead and develop a team of hospitality professionals.
• Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally while adhering to menu knowledge, service standards, and dietary requirements.
• Provide guests and patrons an experience and environment that exceeds expectations.
• Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities.
• Implement and establish on-the-job training programs for colleagues. 
• Build strong, interdepartmental relationships in the Hotel.

• Experience in Food & Beverage operations in a hotel or hospitality venue.
• All round Food & Beverage knowledge including barista & bar skills.
• A passion for leadership and strong communication skills.
• The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Availability to work 38 hours per week, including weekends and Public Holidays.
• A valid NSW RSA.
• Valid Australian working rights.
