We are Novotel London Waterloo, located at the heart of London and within walking distance of the River Thames, Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace, making it a perfect choice for families and leisure travellers.

We'd like to discuss an opportunity for a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to lead our vibrant Food & Beverage Operation and take it to the next level.

In this role, you will be at the heart of the hotel’s guest experience overseeing all Food & Beverage Operations including restaurant, banqueting and kitchen, driving service excellence and proudly embodying our service culture and brand values.

The role is more than an operational role, it is an opportunity to shape culture, elevate standards and make a real impact while building your professional profile within one of the top global hospitality groups.

Main duties include:

• Maintaining an inclusive, engaging and high performance team culture.
• Liaise with Head Chef, Conference and Front office departments to ensure smooth operational practices and deliver a seamless guest journey.
• Leading and developing passionate F&B and Kitchen managers to support our teams and deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety and licensing regulations.
• Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards, audits and quality are maintained
• Ensure The F&B department budget is respected
• Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, maintaining confidentiality.
• Managing stock, suppliers and budgets effectively
• And last but not least bring your full self, your voice, your fresh ideas and practices that will enhance the guest offering and help you stay ahead of trends

You will be best prepared for this role if you have :

• A solutions-focused and proactive mindset.
• Proven experience in Food & Beverage leadership role.
• Or a background of developing teams and driving performance.
• Ability to balance quality with profitability and understanding the margins, costs and revenue drivers

• The emotional intelligence of remaining calm and resilient under pressure.

You will have the opportunity to be part of a high-energy, fun team that delivers excellent customer service each day to all our guests. Our hotel offers 178 rooms,  6 meeting rooms, bar, restaurant and fitness & sauna areas.

To ensure you can best care for our team you will need to be fluent in English. Proven work eligibility within the United Kingdom required.
