Job Description

Novotel & Ibis Auckland Ellerslie is a bustling property just 15 minutes from the Auckland CBD which hosts a variety of guests.  We offer exceptional food and beverage options, multiple conference spaces, and 247 contemporary guest rooms, all designed to provide an unforgettable experience.

• Take Food & Beverage orders and maximise sales
• Learn and familiarise yourself with our products to sell confidently to guests
• Provide effective and clear communication to the kitchen
• Prompt service to our guests
• Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service

Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you also have:

• Must have passion for quality, presentation and delivering outstanding customer service
• Great communication skills & presentation and confidence to engage with guests
• Possess a strong command of English both written and verbal
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Ability to work well under pressure, think on your feet and ability to make quick decisions.
• Available to work on a rotating roster over 7 days if required, including weekends, public holidays, mornings and night shifts.
