Position: Food & Beverage Assistant

Reports To: Restaurant Manager/General Manager

Located on Monck Street in the lively Crown Quarter, Jaspers Restaurant is a vibrant, all‑day bistro with stylish indoor and outdoor seating and a modern open kitchen. We’re passionate about beautifully prepared dishes using locally sourced Wexford produce. And when the food winds down, the bar comes alive, serving craft beers, creative cocktails and an extensive wine list.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you’ll be a key part of creating memorable experiences for our guests. You’ll bring warmth, professionalism and energy to every interaction while working closely with your team in a fast‑paced, friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Take food & beverage orders confidently and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar

Deliver attentive, friendly service and ensure every guest feels genuinely looked after

Create a warm, welcoming environment from the moment guests arrive to the moment they leave

Maintain a clean, organised bar and service area at all times

Demonstrate strong menu knowledge and talk confidently with guests about food & drink options

Assist with set‑up and close‑down of service

Support your teammates and contribute to a positive, can‑do team culture
