The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club, beautifully situated on the banks of the River Slaney in Co. Wexford, is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant Prom Bar team. This is a part‑time, weekends‑only role ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced hospitality environment and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Job Purpose:
To provide warm, attentive, and efficient service to all guests of the Prom Bar, ensuring a high-quality experience that reflects our hotel values of Care, Always Getting Better, Doing the Right Thing, and Energy & Drive. The role supports the day‑to‑day bar operations, working collaboratively with the team to maintain our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to all guests in the Prom Bar
• Prepare and serve beverages to the highest standard, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and offering proactive assistance
• Ensure bar and service areas are clean, organised, and well‑stocked at all times
• Follow opening and closing procedures, including cash handling where required
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using our POS systems
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene procedures
• Work collaboratively with the Bar Manager and wider team to ensure smooth service, especially at peak times
• Support the delivery of promotions, events, and special offerings within the Prom Bar
• Handle guest queries and issues professionally, escalating to the Bar Manager where appropriate
