Flutter Developer (Freelance, up to 3h/day)

We are looking for a Flutter Developer to join the project, a mobile application for pet owners in the United States designed to securely store, manage, and access all information about their pets throughout their entire lives. The app includes features for storing general pet information, microchip and identification details, vaccination and medical history, vet visits and medications, documents and reports, behavioral notes, training records, and grooming preferences. It also offers lost and found functionality supported by QR/tag scanning, scan history, and real-time notifications to help reunite pets with their owners. The current development phase focuses on integrating veterinary appointments, allowing users to discover nearby vet clinics and book appointments directly within the application. The product is built with Flutter to ensure a consistent, high-quality mobile experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Flutter.

• Strong knowledge of Dart and the Flutter framework.

• Experience with state management, preferably Bloc.

• Experience integrating REST APIs.

• Understanding of clean architecture principles.

• Experience with dependency injection (GetIt, Injectable, or similar).

• Familiarity with code generation tools such as Freezed.

• Experience with navigation solutions such as AutoRoute.

• Good understanding of asynchronous programming in Dart.

• Experience working with Firebase (FCM, Analytics, Remote Config).

• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.

• Experience participating in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile application features using Flutter.

• Implement new functionality related to pet management and veterinary appointments.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

• Improve application performance, stability, and user experience.
