Job Description
Do you thrive in a fast-paced childcare environment and enjoy supporting multiple classrooms?
We are looking for a dependable, adaptable Floater Teacher who can confidently step into different classrooms—especially infant care—and provide consistent, high-quality support throughout the day.
This is not a passive role. It requires awareness, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
What You’ll Do
Provide hands-on support across multiple classrooms, including infants
Step in where needed to maintain smooth classroom operations
Ensure children are safe, engaged, and cared for at all times
Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Support teachers and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment
What We’re Looking For
Reliable and consistently on time — your role supports the entire center
Flexible and adaptable — comfortable shifting between classrooms
Engaged and present — actively interacting with children (not on your phone)
Strong team player with clear, respectful communication
Patient, positive, and energetic
Committed to integrity and genuine care for children
This Is NOT for You If…
You struggle with attendance, punctuality, or consistency
You prefer routine and are uncomfortable adapting throughout the day
You are not fully engaged with children during your shift
You are not a team player or have poor communication
We rely on this role to keep our center running smoothly—dependability is non-negotiable.
Requirements
2,500 hours of childcare or babysitting experience
Ability to obtain required clearances
Physically able to care for young children (including lifting and diapering)
Benefits
Full-time schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Paid time off after 90 days + birthday PTO
10 paid holidays
Bonuses at 90 and 180 days
CDA tuition assistance + pay increases for education
Paid training, conferences, and professional development
Discounted childcare (if available)
Supportive team culture with staff recognition and events
