OVERVIEW
Reports to the QA Manager
The Flight Ops Program Coordinator will be responsible for:
•
Draft operational manuals, SOPs, FOM, COM, MELs, checklists, and forms to meet CARs and company policies.
o
Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) such as pilots, safety, and regulatory staff to ensure accuracy and clarity in technical documents.
o
Format content in accordance with company branding and Transport Canada guidelines.
•
Assist with the preparation of customer presentations etc.
•
Assist in the preparation of materials for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
o
Possible touchpoint / contact for auditor during external audits
•
Monitor and coordinate compliance with Transport Canada advisory circulars and regulatory updates.
•
Coordinate and communicating onboarding procedures with new hires
•
Development and oversight in the delivery and receipt of training packages
•
Assisting with planning and coordination of programs and their activities
•
Collaborating with the Flight Ops team to perform activities as required by supervisor
•
Inputting/analyzing Flight Operations Error reduction Data
•
Maintaining training data entry systems
•
Maintaining the flight operations program agenda
•
Conducting monthly auditing of training files and annual auditing of Flight Operations Manuals, Training ProgramManuals, and other company manuals.
•
QA Tasks as assigned (IE ramp checks, pilot record checks, etc)
•
Other Duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
•
High School diploma (minimum);
•
A background in Aviation is an asset;
•
Ability to communicate and correspond clearly and precisely in English (minimum);
•
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word).
•
Ability to lead by example;
•
Work in a fast paced environment;
•
Ability to self-manage timed projects;
•
Must be organized, detail orientated, and;
•
Must be a safety conscious individual who can work unsupervised.
