• Design and analyze orbital trajectories
• Perform orbit determination, propagation, maneuver planning, and delta-V budgeting
• Plan autonomous and ground-assisted proximity operations sequences and abort strategies as well as plan and optimize routine operational activities
• Develop and maintain flight dynamics analysis tools and simulations
• Validate guidance concepts via Monte Carlo analysis and sensitivity studies
• Develop autonomous closed loop orbit control algorithms
• Support software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
• Support launch and early orbit operations, commissioning, and on-orbit activities
Your Background::
• Degree in Space Engineering, Astrodynamics, Physics, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in space industry
• Strong background in flight dynamics, including orbit determination and propagation, maneuver planning and validation
• Experience designing and analyzing rendezvous and proximity operations or formation flight
• Good understanding of satellite AOCS sensors and actuators, mainly propulsion and GNSS
• Good understanding of navigation filters, including state estimation and uncertainty assessment for orbit determination and proximity operations
• Experience with ECSS standards is a plus
• Proficiency in at least one technical programming language (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
• Experience with flight dynamics tools (e.g. GMAT, STK, Orekit)
