Flight Dispatcher in Belgium Brussels

We are seeking an semi experienced and detail-oriented Flight Dispatcher to join our team in Brussels and who LIVES IN BELGIUM. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our flight operations. You will be responsible for flight planning, monitoring, and coordination, ensuring all flights operate smoothly and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Flight Planning: Develop comprehensive flight plans according to EASA requirements, considering factors such as weather, NOTAM, airspace restrictions, aircraft performance, and passenger requirements.
• Operational Coordination: Coordinate with pilots, ground staff, and other departments to ensure all aspects of flight operations are aligned.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all flights comply with national and international aviation regulations, including EASA regulations.
• Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor flights in real-time, making adjustments as necessary to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Third-Party Coordination: Serve as the main liaison with third-party providers, including ground handling services, permit providers, and catering companies, to ensure all necessary arrangements are made for each flight, and any issues are resolved promptly.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Experience as a Flight Dispatcher, preferably in the private aviation sector.
• Licensing: Flight Dispatcher License or Certificate, ATPL, PLL, or any Instruction related to aviation.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of aviation regulations, weather analysis, flight planning software and Jeppsen Charts
• Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly.
• Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
• Technology: Familiarity with flight dispatch software such PPS, Foreflight … and other aviation tools.
