Fleet Quality Controller
Monday to Thursday 7.30 am - 4.30pm - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm
Overview
As a Final Quality Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring every fleet and leasing vehicle meets the highest standards before it reaches the customer. You’ll be the last set of eyes on each vehicle, responsible for validating workmanship, compliance, safety, and presentation. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong technical awareness, and a passion for delivering consistently excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Quality Inspection
• Conduct comprehensive end-of-line inspections on all fleet and leasing vehicles prior to delivery.
• Verify that all cosmetic, and safety-related work has been completed to required standards.
• Ensure vehicles meet brand, leasing company, and regulatory requirements – Fleet Packs must be present in every car prior to delivery
Compliance & Documentation
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports and quality checklists.
• Comprehensive set of photographs to be taken on each vehicle to prove standards have been met prior to hand-over
• Flag any non‑conformities and ensure corrective actions are completed before sign‑off.
Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with workshop teams, bodyshop, valeting, and logistics to resolve issues quickly.
• Provide clear feedback on recurring faults or quality concerns to support continuous improvement.
• Liaise with fleet coordinators and delivery teams to ensure vehicles are ready on schedule.
Presentation Standards
• Inspect interior and exterior cleanliness, ensuring vehicles meet delivery‑ready presentation standards.
• Verify branding, decals, and livery are correctly applied where required.
• Ensure fuel levels, tyre pressures, fluid levels, and battery charge meet handover requirements.
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in the motor trade, ideally in PDI, quality control, or workshop environments.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, repair processes, and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection work.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced fleet environment with tight turnaround times.
• Confident using digital inspection tools, checklists, and reporting systems.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

This role ensures that every vehicle leaving the site is safe, compliant, and presented to a standard that reflects the professionalism of the business and the expectations of fleet and leasing customers. You’ll be the final guardian of quality, helping protect the company’s reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction.
