Project Description:

Looking for ideal Project Management candidate to manage conception, design, delivery and deployment of enterprise-wide fleet management application. This position requires solid communication skills and the ability to discuss and collect requirements from stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Formal requirements gathering and documentation will be done with assistance from IT staff, however PM must be a good listener, great question-asker and be very organized. The PM will participate from high-level design, through RFP, vendor selection, analysis, design, deployment and end-user training. All candidates must be very comfortable with “owning” the process, taking responsibility for delivering on-time and on-budget. Client provides a very open and communicative environment and the PM must feel at home with relating status, both good and regretful, with the ability to address issues and concerns as they arise to ensure project success.

Experience: leading large, impactful projects with multiple stakeholders and numerous requirements. Ideally, some experience with fleet management applications, Oracle technology, leveraging middleware and offshore development model. Also, familiarity with proven PM/SDLC methodology. Less about PMP, more about results and motivating people to action. Good communicator.
