La Rosa Landscape is seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled individual to join our team in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in well-maintained equipment, and wants to grow within a stable, well-established company.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Fleet Maintenance Foreman to ensure our trucks, trailers, and landscape and snow equipment are safe, reliable, and ready to perform at a high level throughout the year.
What You’ll Do-
As a 2nd Mechanic, you’ll support daily fleet and equipment maintenance across both landscape and snow operations. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Performing preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, brake work, and routine inspections
Repairing and maintaining light- and medium-duty trucks, trailers, mowers, skid steers, and snow equipment
Supporting snow season operations with equipment preparation, in-season repairs, and emergency service as needed
Maintaining accurate service and repair records
Helping keep the shop clean, organized, and well-stocked with tools and parts
Communicating clearly with the Fleet Maintenance Foreman regarding equipment status and repair needs
What We’re Looking For-
2+ years of experience in automotive, diesel, or equipment repair
(Landscape or snow industry experience preferred)
Working knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Welding experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record (CDL a plus)
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours during snow events

Full-time, Monday–Friday; however, we can be flexible with hours
Occasional Saturdays
