Fleet Foreman - Marine Transportation

We’re looking for a hands-on leader to assist with overseeing our fleet maintenance shop!

If you know trucks, lead from the front, and keep the wheels turning with minimal downtime—you’re our kind of guy.

As Shop Foreman, you’ll oversee daily operations, direct mechanics, and ensure our hauling fleet is safe, compliant, and road-ready. You’ll be the go-to for diagnosing issues, approving repairs, and making sure things get done right—and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and supervise a team of diesel mechanics and techs

Oversee maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and trailers

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend solutions

Manage parts inventory, work orders, and vendor coordination

Enforce safety procedures and DOT compliance standards

Jump in and get your hands dirty when needed—this is not a desk job

Communicate with dispatch and operations to minimize equipment downtime

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience in truck/trailer repair or fleet maintenance

Prior leadership or shop management experience

Strong understanding of trucks and trailers (engines, brakes, suspensions, 12 volt electrical systems, etc.)

Ability to read diagnostics and service manuals

Comfortable with basic computer use (work orders, emails, etc.)

CDL-A is a plus but not required

Reliable, no-nonsense attitude, and ready to lead by example
