We have an opening in our Transportation Department. The ideal candidate for this position will display a commitment and a desire to provide superior service to external customers. This is an hourly 40 hour/week position but overtime may be required. The hours will be 7 AM- 4 PM Monday-Friday. The duties could include DOT recordkeeping, assisting with truck transport to and from hews, assisting with vehicle scheduling and dispatching to support the Transportation Manager. A proven history of positive employee and customer relations is a must. This position reports to the Transportation Manager. The candidate will also display the following:
• Good problem solving and organization skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Must have a valid CDL and DOT medical card.
• 5 years experience driving.
• Good computer skills.
• Able to interpret oral as well as written instructions and information.
• Ability to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events.
• Ability to remain open to others’ ideas.
• Good communication skills and an ability to work well with other people.
• Ability to fill in for a driver when needed.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
