KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the fitness centre's financial operations, including budget preparation, revenue enhancement, and expense control
• Oversee and maintain the facility, ensuring peak condition and adherence to safety standards
• Develop and implement fitness programmes, including aerobics and specialised offerings
• Train and supervise fitness staff in areas such as member management, sales techniques, and exercise instruction
• Conduct fitness assessments and develop personalised exercise programmes for members
• Lead various exercise classes, including cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and flexibility sessions
• Provide instruction and counselling on exercise prescription, nutrition, and stress management
• Develop and coordinate marketing strategies and special events to enhance membership and revenue
• Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of supplies
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain positive relationships within the spa and hotel
• Conduct staff meetings, performance appraisals, and training sessions
• Stay current with industry trends and maintain personal fitness as a role model for members
