Opportunity for a chef looking for a supportive and friendly environment in an intimate setting, in an exciting and growing food supper club/concept operation which has attracted excellent press reviews.
Friendly and dynamic expanding operation
Currently at two locations the operation is open Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays offering a bar/brunch/events and evening menu for up to 30 - 40 covers, the operation is also sometimes closed for private events
This role represents a great opportunity for a sous chef who is looking for their next step up as a head chef in a smaller quality environment.
Role

Fully responsible for a brigade of 3 chefs
•
training and motivation of your team

Creative input

Stock management
•
Rota management
•
Implementing health and safety , food hygiene practices
•
Maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen at all times
Candidate Profile
Ability to commit to a role and demonstrate a steady work background
•
Will have at least 2 years experience as a sous chef
• Demonstrate strong man management
• Good creative flair
• Will be able to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Will be from the local area or willing to travel
• Able to multis task with main supper club covers and events
•
Must have comprehensive cooking skills and technical knowledge
•
Must demonstrate a passion for good quality, fresh ingredients
•
Excellent organisational skills
Salary & Benefits
Closed on Sundays /Mondays /Tuesday/ working hours - 45 - 48 hours ( candidate will need to attend a weekly meeting on one of this days)
£circa 31/32 k per annum -
