As part of one of the largest franchise systems in the country, SERVPRO® of Edina/Eden Prairie is looking for a Mitigation Technician to join our team at our Minnesota location. As a mitigation technician, you will work mainly at client job sites to aid in mitigating personal or commercial property loss and/or damage from:

Water

Fire

Mold

Weather

Biohazard

As a mitigation technician, your job duties include but are not limited to:

Water extraction

Cleaning, sanitizing and deodorizing

Placing and operating loss mitigation equipment such as blowers, fans, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and eaters

Rolling up carpet

Cutting and removing drywall

Repairs and minor construction

Board-up and tarping

Cleaning up and throwing out damaged debris and materials

Smoke and soot removal

Mold containment and/or removal

Cleaning contents and personal property

Use and application of appropriate professional cleaning products

Position Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Authorized to Work in the United States

At least 18 years of age

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to work with/around cleaning agents

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
