Job Description

Tri-City Fire Protection is currently seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter in Des Moines, IA.

Main duties:

Lead assigned projects and apprentice team members to ensure that all deadlines are met with regard to installation, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for customers.

Layout and install fire protection systems

Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading

Modify current sprinkler systems

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sprinkler Fitter

Prior experience managing construction projects

Excellent communication skills verbal, and written

Ability to read blueprints

Track record of success completing projects on schedule

Preferred: Foreman/Journeyman Level - through National local 669

Lifting 50+ lbs.

Work on ladders and elevated surfaces

Work in small spaces

Work in a fast-paced, construction environment

Must be 18 years old

Ability to travel
