Fire Protection Service Sales Executive

Position Summary: The Service & Inspection Sales Executive is responsible for selling products and services offered by Olympic West Fire Protection, LLC to current and new clientele. 

Role and Responsibilities 

Build and maintain a network of resources from which to identify new sales leads. 

Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs. 

Demonstrate the functions and utility of products and services to customers based on their needs. 

Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale. 

Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest. 

Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems. 

Provide sales forecast for the assigned territory. 

Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

Must have fire protection industry experience. 

10+ years of experience in sales or a related field. 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field; or equivalent practical experience instead of a degree. 

Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients. 

Excellent time management skills. 

Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling. 

Thorough knowledge of assigned territory, market, and clients. 

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 

Must be willing to travel. 

Physical Demands 

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects, tools, or controls. This position requires mobility and minimal physical exertion. 

Working Conditions 

Usual office working conditions, whether on-site or remote. The noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments. Extensive travel may be required.
