• Review of architectural and firefighting plans in accordance with applicable fire & life safety codes (i.e., NFPA, Saudi Building code, UAE Fire code)
• Preparation of fire & life safety strategy reports and provision of proactive advice to clients regarding design compliance
• Maintaining a high level of professional responsibility in undertaking the required review services
• Ensuring a high level of communication both verbal and in writing
• Management of individual projects to ensure each of the necessary deliverable required by clients are met
• Ensuring a thorough understanding of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, UAE Fire code, Saudi Building & Fire code and each of the relevant design standards such as NFPA 13, 14, 72, 92 etc
• Use of all necessary architectural and design software (CAD, Bluebeam)
• Experienced in CFD modelling and smoke management is preferable
Bachelor or Masters in Fire Engineering
