The Role

We’re looking for a FinOps professional to own and manage the company’s financial operations. This role is hands-on and operational, with strong exposure to management reporting, compliance, and cashflow oversight.

You will work closely with leadership to ensure the company’s finances are well-structured, compliant, and optimized for growth.

What You’ll Do

Monitor and manage company cashflow, including income and expenses.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support decision-making.

Handle quarterly VAT submissions and coordinate the annual audit process.

Execute financial transactions via online banking platforms and cryptocurrency exchanges.

Manage invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.

Maintain accounting records in accordance with UAE financial regulations and IFRS standards.

Prepare and review payroll calculations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

Oversee expense reporting and petty cash management.

Track accounts receivable and payable, including follow-ups on overdue payments.

Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes.

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and cost control.

Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses or reports upon management request.

Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and proper documentation across all financial systems.

Must Haves

3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.

Strong knowledge of UAE accounting and VAT requirements.

Experience working with IFRS standards.

Hands-on experience with invoicing, reconciliations, and cashflow management.

Comfortable working with online banking tools and crypto exchanges.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Fluent English communication skills.

Exposure to Web3, crypto, or fintech environments.

Experience with accounting software and automation tools.
