At Cortex Reply, we’re looking for passionate FinOps Engineers and Consultants capable of combining technical skills with the FinOps practice to help our clients establish sustainable FinOps governance and automating transparency and optimization activities for a scalable and efficient FinOps practice.

FinOps bridges the gap between DevOps and Finance. Together with our clients, we implement the FinOps Framework, beginning with a central FinOps Team that drives engagement across the organization. Together with other stakeholders, such as DevOps Teams, IT Controlling, or Product Owners, we identify and implement measures to reduce cloud costs and maximize the usage of cloud resources, which enhances the business value of the cloud and measures success through various metrics.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate on FinOps projects together with your colleagues to make our customers' cloud usage more efficient and sustainable.

• Develop technical solutions for common FinOps challenges (e.g., tagging, cloud service policies).

• Analyze clients' cloud environments to highlight optimization potential for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.

• Automate FinOps processes to streamline cloud cost allocation, reporting, and optimization.

• Use your communication skills to interact with stakeholders from platform, product, and application teams.

• Develop FinOps blueprints and share knowledge with colleagues.

• Design and deliver FinOps trainings, give conference talks, and create blog posts.

• Drive FinOps topic development and innovation within Reply and the FinOps Foundation.

• Collaborate with us on new opportunities like FinOps for sustainability or Technology Business Management.
