Job Summary
inExhaust is an industrial silencer & exhaust systems manufacturer located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are looking for motivated individuals who will positively impact our company and share the excitement of our successes as we continue to grow. The Finishing Technician will clean and paint surfaces of completed products.
Duties and Responsibilities
Determine the appropriate equipment or method based on requirements
Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects
Cleaning surfaces before painting
Mixing and applying paints, and sealants for a lasting finish
Spray paint using 2.5-gal pressure pot with 25’ lines
Covering exposed objects and surfaces
Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface
Collaborating with other departments to ensure on time completion
Keeping the workspace and tools clean
Maintain and operate equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Safely disposing of chemical waste
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
1-year related experience and/or training
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience with pressure fed paint system
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Ability to spray multiple angles for paint coverage
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, coverall, etc.)
Good planning, organization, and communication skills
