We are seeking a Skilled Craftsman specializing in Cabinet Installation and Finish Carpentry to join our Production team full-time. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and high-end residential finishes. You will play a critical role in delivering the polished, custom look our clients expect.
What You’ll Do
Install custom and semi-custom cabinetry with precision, including kitchen, bath, built-ins, and specialty storage solutions.
Perform advanced finish carpentry including trim, molding, scribe work, paneling, toe kicks, crown, and custom details.
Ensure cabinetry is level, plumb, square, aligned, and securely fastened to Sea Pointe quality standards.
Read and interpret construction drawings, cabinet plans, elevations, and specifications.
Perform light framing, drywall repair, and surface preparation as needed to support finish installations.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Designers, Lead Craftsmen, and subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing and execution.
Identify and resolve field conditions, fit issues, and finish conflicts proactively.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites at all times.
Safely operate hand and power tools and transport materials as required.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of residential remodeling or finish carpentry experience, with a strong emphasis on cabinet installation.
Demonstrated expertise in high-end cabinetry, trim, and detailed finish work.
Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing.
Ability to read and interpret plans, shop drawings, and cabinet layouts.
Own truck, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a full set of professional trade tools.
Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Professional demeanor with clients, team members, and trade partners.
Commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Physical Requirements
Medium to heavy physical work: frequent lifting (25–50 lbs.) and occasional lifts over 50 lbs.
Standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
Manual dexterity for detailed finish work.
