POSITION SUMMARY
This role blends elevated table service with strong bar knowledge. The primary objective is to create an exceptional guest experience through responsive, professional, and gracious service—whether on the floor or behind the bar. The ideal candidate is comfortable in both roles and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-level hospitality. Pay is based on availability.
SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and cared for.
Identify first-time guests and provide thoughtful menu guidance.
Maintain strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings to confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
Assist guests with dietary needs.
Take and accurately enter orders into the POS system.
Own the guest experience from order placement through follow-up.
Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond proactively to needs or concerns.
Complete side work and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Process payments accurately.
Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
BAR RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to house standards.
Maintain strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; make recommendations and answer guest questions.
Provide attentive service to bar guests, building rapport and recognizing regulars.
Accurately record and process drink orders in the POS system.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
Assist with inventory, restocking, and bar setup.
Support service staff by fulfilling drink tickets quickly and accurately.
Ensure bar area meets cleanliness and presentation standards at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
Must have average to above average knowledge regarding beer, wine and spirits.
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and safely lift up to 25 pounds.
