To support this mission, Syngenta’s Finance Business Partnering team is seeking a Financial Risk Management Manager Andinos in Bogotá, Colombia.

Accountabilities 

Credit and Collections

• Responsible for ensuring the company's financial health by managing credit risk, defining credit policies, and optimizing accounts receivable recovery.
• Supervises the team, analyzes customer solvency, and ensures positive cash flow through effective collection strategies.
• Acts as Credit Business Partner for commercial teams.
• Conducts field visits to clients to understand their specific needs and challenges.
• Analyzes financial statements, metrics, industry trends, and market conditions.

Treasury

• Responsible for managing liquidity, cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risks for the Andean CU.
• Optimizes financial resources, ensures compliance with obligations, and defines investment and debt strategies to guarantee financial stability for the Andean CU.
• Manages and implements financial solutions for clients as well as for the CUs.

Required  

• Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in finance with a strong emphasis on Credit management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven negotiation skills.
• Effective stakeholder management across multiple levels.
• Knowledge of SAP.
