The Financial Analyst supports the organization’s financial planning and decision‑making processes by delivering accurate analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
The role exists to ensure data‑driven financial insights, enabling business leaders to make informed choices regarding performance, investments, and resource allocation.
It is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting cycles, variance analysis, and financial modeling, with direct impact on departmental and company-wide financial discipline.
Key stakeholders include the Finance Manager, Business Unit Leaders, HR, and Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analyses.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on revenue, cost, margins, and financial KPIs.
• Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Monitor financial performance trends and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, HR, Operations) to consolidate financial input and validate assumptions.
• Assist in cost-control initiatives, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations for management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
• Master’s degree or professional certification (ACCA, CFA) preferred
• Expert Excel capability
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Experience with BI tools is an asset
• Understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and forecasting
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Analytical thinking & problem-solving
• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work under tight deadlines
