PLEASE NOTE:
• This role is not open to relocation.  Only candidates who have residency and right to work in Jersey can be considered.
• This role is a 3-month Fixed Term Contract
Conduct regulatory monitoring within CHNW and Business and Commercial Clients (including product) on a specific set of regulatory requirements (e.g. Periodic Reviews, FIC Amendment Bill, KYC Waterfall, PIPs, AML Training, QA etc.) as prescribed by the Regulatory Monitoring framework and drive first level of defence remediation of breaches. Provide insights on the state of regulatory adherence within allocated portfolio and prepare appropriate reports as input into overall regulatory reporting.
Minimum Qualification: 
• First Degree in Business Commerce
Experience Required :
• 3 - 4 years experience in Personal and Private Banking
• Previous banking experience understanding branch / product policies and procedures. Experience in analysing and interpreting trends and data.
Key Outputs :
• Act on feedback after the regulatory reporting has taken place and makes necessary amendments to future reporting and formats required.
• Alert business units where documentation does not comply in order to make a decision to freeze / close an account.
• Analyse regulatory alerts received on the daily / weekly alerts report to determine the legitimacy of the alert notification (e.g., accuracy of data) by comparing it against agreed processes and SLAs.
• Approach relevant client coverage stakeholders (where required) in order to formulate an overall and informed view of portfolio activities (e.g. QA report for new to bank accounts, documents outstanding and senior management sign off for periodic reviews etc.).
• Assimilate various sources of information (e.g., where a breach occurs a stakeholder may not always be aware of how / why the breaches occur and necessitating jobholder to identify the root cause of the breach and discuss ways of remediation with stakeholder). Stakeholders may not always understand the consequences of particular breaches, requiring jobholder to explain the process and consequences that could result.
