About the role

Lead assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close workstreams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of outputs.

Perform journal entries and review financial statements.

Work and collaborate with other finance teams in the reporting and analysis of financial statements.

Strengthen governance for assigned areas by setting standards for reconciliations, schedules, and timely clearing of reconciling items; escalate risks early and drive cross-team resolution

Work closely with the audit team to complete annual external audit and tax filings, including timely closure of audit queries for assigned reporting areas

Performing various research and financial analysis to assist in the identification of potential accounting issues, or as may be required by leadership

Maintain accurate and complete financial records, schedules and including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to bank transactions.

Knowledge of all financial data sources within the business and the ability to effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposes

Identify process improvement opportunities and lead process improvement efforts to increase accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial reporting.

Participating in ad hoc projects and performing other related duties as assigned

Must Haves

An Accounting or Finance-related degree

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred

With at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial and management reporting.

Robust knowledge of finance and accounting principles, general business practices, and financial statements techniques

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for various levels throughout the organization

Highly organized and sharp, detail-oriented, and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
