Financial Controller

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations, strengthen our governance framework, and shape a high‑performing finance team.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and develop a high-performing team (Assistant Financial Controller & Management Accountant) through coaching, support, and continuous development
• Own the production of monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance
• Drive and embed a strong internal controls framework across the entity
• Support internal audit activities, ensuring actions and remediations are understood and implemented
• Manage external audit engagements, acting as the key point of contact at entity level
• Advise stakeholders with strong technical accounting insights, supporting strategic and operational decision-making
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
• Partner with our BPO provider to deliver an accurate, timely month-end close
• Identify and lead improvements in processes and systems that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and business value

What You’ll Bring

• Strong technical accounting expertise (ideally qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a Shared Service Environment
• A proactive, collaborative working style with the confidence to challenge and influence
• A passion for developing people and building a high-performance culture
• Experience leading controls, audits, and financial reporting in a complex environment
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and operational excellence
