Financial Controller

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations, strengthen our governance framework, and shape a small but high‑performing finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines technical expertise with the curiosity, collaboration, and influence often seen in strong Finance Business Partners.

 What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and developing a high-performing team (Assistant Financial Controller & Management Accountant) through coaching, support, and continuous development
• Owning the production of monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance
• Driving and embedding a strong internal controls framework across the entity
• Supporting internal audit activities, ensuring actions and remediations are understood and implemented
• Managing external audit engagements, acting as the key point of contact at entity level
• Advising stakeholders with strong technical accounting insights, supporting strategic and operational decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
• Partnering with our BPO provider to deliver an accurate, timely month-end close
• Identifying and leading improvements in processes and systems that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and business value

What You’ll Bring

• Strong technical accounting expertise (ideally qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a Shared Service Environment
• A proactive, collaborative working style with the confidence to challenge and influence
• A passion for developing people and building a high-performance culture
• Experience leading controls, audits, and financial reporting in a complex environment
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and operational excellence
