We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our Finance team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, smooth financial closes, tax compliance, and audits, while helping us build and scale our financial processes in a high-growth fintech environment. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and improving systems as we grow.

What you will do?

Review and manage general and analytical accounting to ensure accuracy.

Oversee monthly and annual financial closes.

Support the Finance Manager in coordinating and preparing the annual audit.

Monitor and manage tax obligations in coordination with external advisors.

Review and process payroll accounting.

Design, implement, and optimize accounting policies and processes, currently in early stages.

Lead financial process automation and continuous improvement initiatives, critical in a fintech environment.

Collaborate closely with other teams and support business growth through financial insights and operational excellence.

Ensure reliable and high-quality financial reporting.

Deliver accurate closes and audits without incidents.

Build and scale robust financial processes to support growth.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar.

5-7 years of total experience in Finance, including accounting, FP&A, and audits.

Experience in audited environments and managing month-end and year-end closes.

Track record of designing processes and implementing financial automation.

Comfortable building processes from scratch or working in under-structured environments.

Previous experience in international environments; fintech/startups/scaleups experience is a plus.

Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of general and analytical accounting.

Hands-on experience in financial closes, audits, and tax compliance.

Skilled in process design and continuous improvement.

Ability to work in dynamic, high-growth environments.
