We’re focused on innovative chemical and biological solutions to improve livestock performance, control Salmonella, E.coli, Clostridia and a host of viruses which impact animal welfare, productivity and human food security, and drive milling efficiency.
We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to overee day-to-day accounting activities in all nine Anitox business entities (US (Holding and Corp), Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, UK, Netherlands) and the global consolidation entity Anitox Holding Company).
You will work collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Accounting Manager and the Global Credit & Treasury Manager to ensure that all entities are properly accounted for including; consolidation, monthly financial reporting, auditing and tax work. This role will focus on further streamline financial operating processes and ensuring best-practice business and accounting practices are applied across all entites. You will also drive analytical focus across the organization and improve quantitative and analytical capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have an Accounting Degree, plus at least 10 years of finance experience in a manufacturing company (with a large, dispersed operating profile), combined with strong leadership, teamworking, and excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
Job Responsibilities
Entity Consolidation
Reconciliation of all entity trial balances to the consolidated entity.
Work with Senior Accounting Manager and Regional Accounting Managers to ensure accounting at the entity level is being completed timely and accurately.
Ensure all journal entries are posted promptly in accordance with the Anitox operating Calendar.
Ensure all assigned entities complete balance sheet reconciliations for all major accounts on a period basis.
Intercompany Management
Ensure all Anitox entity trial balances are reviewed and in compliance with Anitox accounting standards.
Ensure that all intercompany activity between Anitox entities is identified and all intercompany profit and expenses are properly accounted for and reported.
Financial Reporting
Process and complete financial and operating reporting for Anitox Holding Company, internal reporting for Anitox and Illuma Alliance in a timely manner.
Manufacturing Accounting
Work with the Global Cash Manager and Chief Financial Officer to address Anitox cost accounting needs in the following areas within the ERP System:
Setting of standards
Validation of Bills of Material for all products
Recording labor and overhead rates
Completion of profitability analysis for fully landed costs by entity for Anitox Products and Customers
Inventory
Maintain and update entity-level inventory analysis and reporting.
Work collaboratively with the Global Operations team to ensure proper inventory counts are completed promptly.
Fixed Assets
Schedule and Reconcile Fixed Assets
Process monthly Depreciation.
Set up and maintain CAPEX projects.
Review and reconcile CIP Accounts
Complete CapEx say-do analysis.
Working Capital Management
Participate as part of the Weekly Global Cash Review
Provide cover for Asia and EMEA bank account reconciliations.
Planning & Analysis
Lead the annual budgeting process.
Support the monthly forecasting process.
Work with the Finance team and Operations leadership to provide timely analysis into profitability across operating entities and gross margin by product, by region, and by customer.
Provide action-oriented financial information to department heads to help manage their operating expense spend vs. budget and prior year.
Improve and develop analytical skill sets across the finance team.
Annual Audit
Manage and lead the annual fiancial audit for all Anitox entities.
Education, Skills and Experience
Required
Accounting Degree plus at least 10 years of finance experience in a manufacturing company with a large, dispersed operating profile.
Proven history of delivering accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
A responsive, flexible, adaptive personality with an ability to deal with ambiguity.
Demonstrated success in influencing decision makers to adopt new ways of thinking and execution that helps propel the business.
Extraordinarily strong quantitative and analytical skills and operationally focused.
Demonstrated success in driving efficiencies and delivering results

Ability to develop, train/coach team members to support long-term organizational needs.
High energy level; must motivate and be capable of getting a team to work together.
Strong strategic abilities: a thoughtful leader who produces great ideas, but also enjoys being challenged.

Excel skills: Intermediate/Advanced level (pivot tables, look-ups)
Excellent written and spoken English language.
Desired:
CPA and/or MBA a plus
Familiarity with foreign currency and management of converting foreign currency financials statements into US Dollars
Familiar with ERP system conversions
Familiarity with IFRS Accounting rules & regulations
