We are looking for a highly driven Financial Controller to take end-to-end ownership of financial operations and ensure the overall financial health and stability of the organization. In this role, you will lead the Finance & Accounts function, overseeing cash flow management, financial planning, and statutory compliance while delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with leadership, investors, auditors, and banking partners, translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive business growth. The role also involves managing critical financial cycles such as order-to-cash and procure-to-pay, ensuring efficient working capital utilization, accurate reconciliations, and seamless coordination with logistics and vendor ecosystems. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including taxation and import-related processes. This position requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence, making it ideal for professionals who can manage high-volume, complex financial environments while contributing to long-term business success.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and decision-making
• Monitor key financial ratios and performance indicators to assess business health
• Prepare and present MIS reports, financial summaries, and investor updates
• Manage banking relationships, working capital limits, and treasury functions
• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including marketplace reconciliations and credit cycle management
• Ensure timely collections and maintain optimal Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Supervise logistics-finance integration to ensure accurate delivery tracking and dispute prevention
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor payments and international transactions in compliance with regulations
• Handle landed costing and maintain accurate SKU-level financial data
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax
• Lead internal, statutory, and tax audits with a focus on clean and compliant reporting
• Develop and implement strong internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance frameworks
What Makes You a Great Fit
• Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in financial management and reporting
• Proven experience managing finance operations in high-growth, high-volume business environments
• Strong understanding of working capital management, financial ratios, and business performance metrics
• Hands-on experience in handling audits, taxation, and statutory compliance
• Knowledge of import processes, foreign exchange transactions, and regulatory requirements
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel-based financial modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive efficiency across financial processes
• Self-driven, strategic thinker with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
