Job Description

Scorpios is looking for a credible Financial Controller who will be responsible for the bookkeeping and reporting of every day financial documents and transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and management accounting and reporting of the Company and will work to strict deadlines and enjoy contributing to a fun, professional working environment. Candidate shall take ownership of this role and will be passionate about teamwork and creating a pleasant corporate culture – our team loves coming to work every day.

Responsibilities

In charge of financial management reporting and budgeting.

Providing financial information and reporting to stakeholders.

Responsible for the smooth operation of all accounting related activities.

Monthly reporting preparation.

Liaising with external auditors.

Preparing reports as required by law, regulations and company policies.

Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures.

Budgeting preparation and monitoring.

Job Requirements – Candidate Profile

Working experience as Financial Controller for minimum 3 years preferably in F&B or Hospitality or Audit industry.

BSc and MSc Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. ACCA, IESOEL will be considered a strong asset.

Very good knowledge of Accounting Principles, Management Information Systems, Financial Statements analysis

Excellent communication skills along with an innate teamwork mentality.

Positive attitude and ability to perform proficiently under pressure.

Problem solving skills.

Hands on attitude.

English – Fluent (written & spoken).

Strong Work Ethic / Integrity.

Proactive with great interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
