Financial Aid Advisor

Financial Aid Advisor-Lyon College invites applications for the position of Financial Aid Advisor. This position reports to the Executive Director of Financial Aid. The Financial Aid Advisor's main duties include processing data transmissions to and from the Department of Education, communicating financial aid data and information to the Business Office assisting with the administration of one or more federal, state, or institutional financial aid programs, evaluating Financial Aid applications in order to determine student eligibility for various financial aid programs, counseling and advising students and parents on the various financial aid programs, collecting data and keeping accurate records, and other duties as assigned.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or associate’s degree with higher education financial aid experience.
