About the Team

We are seeking a credible, experienced Finance Transformation Lead that as an individual contributor will help build a tech-enabled finance organisation that can keep pace with hypergrowth. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll scale processes, controls, reporting and data to public-company calibre—delivering across multiple concurrent workstreams, not a single programme.

You’ll handle systems and data projects, build robust financial models to support automated workflows and support the development of our control environment to listed-company standards. You will partner closely with Internal Audit to remediate findings and act as the bridge between assurance and delivery. Freed from line management and day to day operations, this is a connector role across Finance and the wider business; success comes from influence, pace, and outcomes. This role would suit someone with high intellect and drive, looking to supercharge their career in a hypergrowth environment.

About the Role

Systems, Processes and Data

• Perform a full gap analysis of our Finance systems architecture and build out a roadmap for the next 24 months.
• Implement detailed, automated balance-sheet reconciliation processes fit for high-volume B2B2C and MVNE activity.
• Lead the adoption of our new holistic billing solution and the manage the integration of the that system with other financial systems.
• Procure and implement a system to support the business with e-Invoicing e-reporting requirements globally.
• Evolve Order-to-Cash (including B2B2C and MVNE) as part of the broader scaling agenda.
• Remodel our P2P process and roll-out / integrate a new procurement system.

Controls, Internal Audit and Close

• Design and help implement SOX standard controls across O2C, P2P and R2R.
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Internal Audit on testing and own remediation to closure with clear owners and timelines.
• Standardise reconciliations, reduce manual journals, and compress month-end close to ≤5 business days.

Relationship Building & Cross-Functional Influence

• Serve as the inter- and intra-Finance bridge across Controllership, FP&A, Systems/Engineering, RevOps, Legal/Tax and Commercial.
• Build credibility with senior stakeholders; convert ambiguity into decisions, owners and timelines.
• Establish clear operating cadences (steerco/stand-ups) with crisp updates and risk/decision logs.

Requirements:
About You

Must-haves

• ACA/ACCA (or equivalent); Top-tier grounding from practice plus startup/scale-up delivery experience.
• Proven process/control build and systems fluency (NetSuite or similar; billing/CRM integrations; PRD writing; UAT).
• Strong IFRS 15; multi-entity/multi-currency; exposure to IFRS 3 and consolidations.
• Strong financial modelling capability.
• Proven experience working successfully with product and engineering teams to deliver automated financial systems.
• Track record influencing senior stakeholders and landing outcomes at pace.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work at pace.

Nice-to-haves

• Telco/MVNE/MVNO domain.
• Exposure to IPO readiness or public-company controls/reporting.
• Advanced data skills (SQL/Python, BI) for diagnostics and monitoring.
