About the role
As a Finance Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities. These include responding to financial inquiries from customers and executing related actions, as well as delivering essential financial data to the leadership team. In addition to daily operational tasks, there is a strong focus on continuously improving global financial processes. You will actively contribute to cross-functional projects and help optimize financial workflows. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities and manage shifting priorities effectively, all within a dynamic, international scale-up environment in the electric vehicle industry.
Your responsibilities include:
• Responding to financial inquiries from customers and independently following up in a timely manner, for example by creating and processing credit notes.
• Assisting in the billing process, including reviewing and processing invoices and identifying discrepancies.
• Performing daily financial tasks, such as maintaining sub-ledgers and processing transactions.
• Verifying data for accuracy and completeness, contributing to a reliable and up-to-date administration.
• Maintaining close contact with the support department to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and professionally.
• Actively contributing to the improvement and simplification of processes within the financial and customer service chain.
Job requirements
• 1+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Bring structure into a chaotic day-to-day environment.
• Strong communicator who is proactive, dynamic and willing to step in and help out when necessary.
• Challenge the way tasks are performed to move to operational excellence.
• A true team player with a high impact as an individual contributor.
