About the job

Blue Bottle Coffee Korea is looking for a passionate and seasoned Finance Specialist to join our Korea Finance team. This role requires a passion for financial information and strong organization skills.

As a Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial operations while supporting the company’s sustainable growth in Korea. This role will support day-to-day accounting, Treasury, Tax operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all sales channels (Cafe and E-commerce/CPG).

This position will be based in Seoul, Korea, and report to the Finance Manager of Korea.

You will:
• Support accounting operations across all sales channels (Cafe, E&C)
• Upload and manage sales transactions in ERP
• Support Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes, including receipt verification and journal entry postings
• Support monthly café expense closing and ensure timely month-end close activities
• Perform account reconciliations and support actual vs. budget / prior month variance analysis
• Support processing bank payments and conduct weekly bank reconciliations
• Support Reconcile quarterly VAT and coordinate with external tax service providers for filings
• Support corporate income tax reporting and statutory audit processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of accounting records and financial KPIs
• Support system implementation projects and respond to external audit requests as needed

You have:
• Over 3 years of Accounting / Finance ASDF/ Treasury experiences
• Experience with global ERP is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, business or a related field is a plus
• Accounting operational efficiency
• English skills - business level in reading and writing
