What you'll need
Mandatory Qualifications
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing Information Technology projects, including at least three (3) years leading large, multi-workstream ERP/SAP programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in program and project lifecycles, integrated planning, and estimation (scope, schedule, resources, and cost) for complex enterprise initiatives.
• Experience leading delivery within a large-scale program requiring integration with multiple projects/workstreams and adherence to an overall program governance model.
• Hands-on experience delivering SAP programs with a Finance focus (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance) including configuration-led delivery with a system integrator.
• Experience delivering Finance process transformation (e.g., Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash) and ensuring alignment to financial controls, auditability, and reporting requirements.
• Experience planning and managing programs/projects in a Public Sector organization (or similarly complex, regulated environment).
• Experience managing a large system integration vendor and coordinating internal business SMEs, technical teams, and third parties.
• Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams concurrently, including integrated schedule and dependency management.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple vendors concurrently (e.g., system integrator, AMS/support provider, testing partner, and niche solution vendors).
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and listening skills, including ability to communicate effectively with Finance leadership and technical delivery teams.
• Strong facilitation skills, including running fit-to-standard workshops, design decision forums, and executive-level governance meetings.
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including ability to evaluate impacts to Finance controls, close processes, and reporting.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), including preparation of executive-ready status reporting, decision papers, and program updates.
• SAP program/project management experience in Finance, including SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) and related capabilities (e.g., Asset Accounting, Treasury, Grants Management, Funds Management, Budgeting/Planning, and/or SAP Group Reporting where applicable).
• Demonstrated ability to partner with Finance business owners, audit/compliance stakeholders, SAP functional/technical teams, and the system integrator to ensure requirements, controls, and adoption needs are met while maintaining SAP best practices.
• Solid understanding of SAP Finance solution architecture, integration patterns, and data concepts (e.g., master data, chart of accounts, cost objects, and reporting structures).
• Strong exposure to SAP Activate methodology, including fit-to-standard, design governance, release management, cutover planning, and hypercare/stabilization.
